David Campbell is one of our finest clarinettist and his two CD
recordings of the Mozart Clarinet Concerto have received critical
acclaim. We being with Brahms' glorious set of orchestral
Variations on a theme by Haydn, often called the St. Anthony Variations. Brahms first championed the works of his younger colleague Dvorak whose
beautifully crafted 5th Symphony could well have been called his "pastoral".
The Concert starts at 7.30pm in Mote Hall, which is within the
Maidstone Leisure Centre, Mote Park, Maidstone.

David Campbell enjoys an international career as clarinet soloist and
teacher. His solo engagements have taken him to over forty countries and he
has performed a wide-ranging repertoire with many orchestras including: the
Royal Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, English Chamber, London Mozart
Players, BBC Concert, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Scottish, BBC
Philharmonic, Orchestra of St. John's, Smith Square and many abroad.
