Llyr Williams  (piano)

Conductor: Brian Wright

Dukas - The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Schumann - Piano Concerto

Vaughan Williams - Job (A Masque for

Dancing)

The famed exploits of Dukas’s young Sorcerer make a popular prelude to a Welsh keyboard wizard, Llyr Williams, playing Schumann’s delightful Piano Concerto. Marking the Vaughan Williams anniversary in 2008, we’ve then a rare concert airing for one of his finest works, Job, magnificently inspired by William Blake’s illustrations.
